Young Set Club Virtual: Summer Craft Series

Young Set Club Virtual: Summer Craft Series

The Covid-19 pandemic has vastly changed the way of life for much of the world in a very sudden timeline. For us camp people, the idea of being on lockdown away from friends and fun is almost overwhelming.

We’re missing many of our campers who can’t join us in person.  So we’re launching our Young Set Summer Craft Series to bring a little slice of Young Set to your homes, for our Young Setters.

The YSC Virtual Summer Craft Series will offer weekly specialty topics for campers that are entering 4th, 5th or 6th grade for the 2020-2021 school year. Each camp week session is Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM daily.  Each day will feature campy crafts, connecting with friends and caring Camp Leaders, an emphasis on life skills, and a little Young Set campy fun! Plus each day will feature a segment for campy physical fitness activities to keep your campers moving, even when at home.  Campers may enroll in 1 or more weeks.

Young Set virtual programs are designed for small groups of campers and camp staff to connect and work through at-home activities together via online platforms.  We use Zoom as our primary meeting place, and our camp staff only admit registered campers into each session using Zoom’s waiting room features.  After you register online, you will receive a confirmation email with the unique Zoom join information for the session.

We’ve designed most of our Summer Craft Series to use materials that are readily available around the house or picked up at a local supermarket prior to the first class.  All materials needed for your camper are listed in the camp descriptions of each week below. Click on a camp week to see more on the requirements to join class.
